Congratulations to Half Hollow Hills on winning the NYSPHSAA Swimming & Diving Championship at Nassau County Aquatics Center on March 4, 2017.
Hills 1st place 200 Medley Relay(Chan, Park, Tack, Lee) time of 1:33.42 set a new NYS Record as well as Section XI record. Their 1st place 200 Free Relay(Lee, Tack, Chan Park) 1:25.27 set a new Section XI record. Ward Melville’s 400 Free Relay (He, Kubik, Kaplan, Zuric) broke the Section XI record with a 2nd place finals time of 3:10.12.
Individual Championships by: 200 IM Alex Park (HHH) -1:50.28, Patrick Carter(West Islip) Diving 580.05, Chris O’Shea (RP) 100 Fly – 48.76, Jason Louser(SWR) 100 Breast – 55.74.
Section XI also finished 1st in the Sectional Scoring with 678 points. Section 1 was 2nd with 584, Section 1 was 3rd with 578.
